If you’re a fan of comic books, SciFi or Twitter – or ALL of that stuff – you’ll find THIS pretty fantastic.
Bluewater Productions is releasing a comic book biography this week that “tells the story of one of the innovators that have changed the digital world forever, Jack Dorsey, the co-Founder of Twitter.”
Here’s the comic book’s description:
Jack Dorsey is the co-founder of Twitter, a social media platform like none other that allows users to have their voice broadcast to the masses, 140 characters at a time. With Twitter, Dorsey has managed bridge the social gaps that entrepreneurs have been trying to close for years; friends are connecting with far-away friends, companies are finally reaching their customers in a new and unique way, and celebrities are tweeting directly at their fans in every corner of the world. Learn about the man behind the phenomenon in the comic book “Jack Dorsey: Co-Founder of Twitter.”
It’s drawn by Jason Moser and written by Patrick McCray and one cover is by Jason Marks (the other is Moser). You can see one cover above, here’s the other:
“It was the most fun you can have writing a comic. I worked hard to strike a balance between satire and sincerity. I think the comic captures the facts and spirit of the man, but lets him — and readers — have a lot of ridiculous fun along the way. And I got to write the words “bison mind fusion” with deadly seriousness. How often can a writer do that?” said McCray.
“Working on this book gave me the opportunity to really stretch my style and explore a number of new and challenging techniques. It was a blast to work on!” said Moser.
Previous “Bluewater biography” subjects that have been featured in the “Business” line include Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Howard Schultz, Mikhail Prokhorov, Sergey Brin, Larry Page & Jack Welch.
“Some of the most of the interesting stories don’t come from Hollywood but from the business world. People like Dorsey, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg created unique cultural touchstone that have more entering value than the latest single from a pop single. Their stories are America’s Myths,” said publisher, Darren G. Davis
