Former Twitter Manager Suing For Age Discrimination

A former Twitter employee is suing the company alleging age discrimination, reports SF Weekly.

The lawsuit, which was filed in Superior Court in San Francisco last week, claims that Peter H. Taylor, who was previously employed as Twitter’s Manager of Data Center Deployment, was terminated from his job “without warning, without notice, without explanation, and without an opportunity to discuss any concerns defendants might have.”

Taylor, who was 57 at the time, claims that his supervisor at Twitter, who was “substantially younger”, made negative comments about his age, and that Twitter replaced him with several employees in their 20s and 30s.
