Twitter Improves Geo-Targeting Options For UK Advertisers

Twitter’s range of promoted products are an effective tool for driving awareness of products and services (as well as your @brandname) on Twitter, but for local businesses in the United Kingdom the geo-targeting options have always been pretty limited unless you’re in a major city.

Today, Twitter has expanded its geo-targeting across nine new regions in the UK to include the following locations: North West England, Yorkshire and The Humber, East England, West Midlands, South East England, South West England, North East England and the East Midlands.

Brands can still target London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool/Manchester as before.

To add the new regions to your Twitter campaign, log in to the Twitter Ads dashboard and simply type in the locations under the “Target specific locations” option.
