During this year’s New Year’s Eve celebration at New York’s Time Square, New York-based Tumblr will help document the event with a steady stream of animated GIFs.
Topher Price, a Tumblr staffer, Ryan Broderick, a BuzzFeed staffer, and Lacey Micallef will work up the animated images from a headquarters on site. Their work will go immediately to the Gifwich Tumblr. The best images may make it to the event’s Livestream channel or even, potentially, on the big screen at Times Square.
