Travelocity Launches iPhone App For Last Minute Hotel Bookings
Online booking engine Travelocity has released a new app called Hotel Deals powered by lastminute.com which is designed to help travelers get last minute deals on hotels.
The app works best when travelers are looking to book a room last minute like the same night, the next night or up to a week in advance. According to Travelocity, the app gives travelers access to three-to-five star hotels at rates up to 55percent off of normal.
In a press release Jason Fulmines explained that the app is “perfect for the leisure traveler looking for a deal for an impromptu weekend getaway or the road warrior who gets stuck late at a meeting and misses their flight.”
The app includes a credit card scan technology which uses the iPhone’s camera to capture and auto fill billing information. The
