TBG Digital Helps Give Topman’s Facebook Stream The 360-Degree Touch

Social media advertising specialist TBG Digital created a Facebook application for Topman that will allow the apparel retailers fans on the social network to view a live stream of its London Collections A/W 2013 fashion show Monday as if they were seated in the front row.

Topman 360 will allow users to scroll left, right, up, or down, and the app also contains a “shoot the show” feature, which will enable users to press a camera icon and share the images they capture with other Facebook users or via other social networks.

Topman and TBG teamed up with production company Scorch London and end-to-end 360-degree video-solutions provider YellowBird on Topman 360.

Topman Marketing Director Jason Griffiths said:

Having streamed the Topman Design show for several seasons now and commenting separately via our social channels, we really wanted to try to achieve a multifaceted live-stream experience that amalgamated all in one and make the experience as personal and unique for each viewer. We are excited to be working with TBG and look forward to where this could lead in June for the next installment of Topman Design at London Collections: Men.

And TBG Creative Director Ian Cassidy added:

This is a brave campaign in partnership with a brave client. We have seven minutes in which to engage, inform, and inspire the audience — no mean feat, and something only feasible due to TBG’s unique full-service mix of media technology and award-winning creative.
