Grill-It! is pretty decent for just 99 cents. There is even a Grill it! app for Androids. Baseball app is not a bad idea either. Konami MLB Power Pros Touch for iPhone is $7.99. Sure, it’s not Angry Birds. But fans of America's pastime will find this to be one of the more pleasant mobile baseball games. The app includes all the physics, pitches and clever little touches to keep your dad content. Some reviews report some shortcomings such as the annoying announcer voiceovers. Still, when you set up your dad with an officially-licensed MLB lineup, it’s worth the fun. Another cool added feature is one-on-one competition between two mobile devices, so you and your dad can challenge each other from different geographical locations. It’s a cool way to stay in touch. If your dad hits links, he might enjoy teeing off with GolfCard app. The $9.99 app maintains all scores and analyzes trends in a player's game as it compares previous rounds.
