I know it’s late notice, but I just found out myself. Today is the 13th of September, and it is the birthday of the late Roald Dahl. Every year for the past 6 years the 13th has been Roald Dahl Day.
Roald Dahl (1919-1990) is a quietly known author of many famous children’s books, including Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach, and more. His books have been sold around the world and translated into many languages.
