Happy Friday everyone! Your 4-day workweek is coming to a close, just in time for you to re-live some of your Labor Day shenanigans. But first, lets check out some of the shenanigans that have been floating around YouTube this week. Our top viral video picks for the week include a fake death, a watermelon to the face, some freaky spawning MINIs, a wild cruise ride and some cool technology. So sit back and get ready to see what online video enthusiasts have been talking about this week! Girl Dies Clips of a prank gone wrong, resulting in a girl's death have been circulating YouTube this week, drumming up a lot of controversy. The clip shows a girl walking into a house where a masked friend jumps out and yells to scare her. The girl runs out of the house screaming, when she is promptly hit by a car and killed. The original uploader claims that this footage is part of a video used in a real court case. The full clip can be viewed here. However, there is no real record of this case and, as Ray William Johnson points out in this week's episode of Equals Three, the horrible acting and the fact that the victim is listed on IMDb all point to the fact that this video is fake. Woman Takes Watermelon To Face Another somewhat painful clip that has been spreading like wildfire this week is from the upcoming season of The Amazing Race. It features a woman getting smacked in the face with a watermelon from a giant slingshot. This may be one of the most horrific FAIL clips of all time and, in my opinion, is going to get a lot more people to watch The Amazing Race this season to find out what happened after the clip. Ouch. Pacific Sun Cruise liner in very heavy seas Thinking about going on a cruise anytime soon? You might think twice after watching this security camera footage of an ocean liner in a heavy storm! MINI Countryman TV Commercial: Flow Car commercials seem to be getting more and more innovative, but I think this new MINI commercial is just creepy. That being said, these MINIs spawning and flying through the city are a great example of the amazing things that are being done with CG technology these days. So kudos on your campaign, MINI, regardless of the nightmares it may have caused me. Google Instant with Bob Dylan I love, love, love Bob Dylan and although I wasn't super excited when I heard about Google Instant I got a little more excited about it after seeing this video. The video cuts together Dylan's music video for "Subterranean Homesick Blues" with real-time Google search results using Google Instant. Love it.
