This App Can Read Your Emotions
It’s called Moodies, and all it takes is the sound of your voice, and this app will start evaluating your mood. To be precise, it takes about 15 seconds of speech and a few more seconds of analysis. The app is based on scientific studies on emotions, and it’s voice based, because the human voice can be measured and with machine intelligence. Things like pitch, timing, volume, pauses, and energy all comes together to pain an image of your emotion.
Beyond Verbal analyzes Clint Eastwood’s famous “Do I feel lucky, punk” classic movie scene from Dirty Harry, 1971 and finds that Eastwood’s verbal intonations were conveying feelings of hysterical emotionalism and hatred — just what the role required!
