Online shoppers who don’t want to miss out when products they have liked on Facebook are put on sale may want to take a glimpse at Glimpse, an application from TheFind.

The new Universal Price Alerts feature on Glimpse will send automatic price-alert emails to users when any product they have liked, on any website that features the Facebook like button, goes on sale or is discounted in other ways.

TheFind said some 5.6 million products across the Web have been liked by Facebook users, compared with around 2 million at the end of 2011, adding that 70 percent of ecommerce sites offer the Facebook like button at the product level.

CEO Siva Kumar added:
