The Smithsonian Libraries Are Now Available on Your Kindle
Starting this week you will find more of the Smithsonian Libraries collections for the Kindle, Nook and other eReaders.
There are currently around a hundred titles available, and they were drawn from books and papers published and/or funded by the Smithsonian. The eBooks are offered in Mobi, Epub, and PDF as free downloads, and you can find them here.
Smithsonian Librarian Erin Thomas, who is coordinating the project, said: “The addition of these publications into e-books is a tremendous tool for scientists and the public who will benefit from mobile access to research.
