The Perseus Books Group Prints Its One-Millionth POD Book

The Perseus Books Group has printed its one-millionth book through its digital printing service called the Perseus Constellation program, since it launched in 2008. A printing of A Geography of Time by Robert Levine, is the title that pushed Perseus program into its new record.

Perseus’ digital book program has been growing significantly in recent years and to accommodate the growth, the printing service instituted a third shift for workers at its Jackson, Tennessee warehouse.

Chris Wagner, Vice President Distribution and General Manager, Jackson Operations had this statement: “By integrating the digital printing operation within our Jackson facility, we have created a seamless service that takes full advantage of digital technology to meet customer demand quickly and efficiently.”
