Nobody knows for sure exactly how much the top grossing YouTube partners are making, but it is purported to be in the six-digit range and one top partner is even using revenue he makes from his YouTube videos to pay his way through college.

That’s right—according to Marsha Takeda-Morrison of Tree.com’s Education Blog, YouTuber Bill Cooper, aka The iPod Kid, is covering his tuition at the University of Dayton with money he makes on his YouTube videos!  Bill “TheiPodKid” Cooper has more than 6 million views across all the videos uploaded to his YouTube channel and 69,580 subscribers at the time of this posting, which places him among the top 1,000 YouTube accounts.

Cooper told Takeda-Morrison what inspired him to start his YouTube channel, back in 2008 when he was a mere 16-years old.
