On Thanksgiving, 20 percent of all e-commerce traffic came from smartphones. The average order rose 20 percent to $81.

Mobile commerce rose on Black Friday, too, Branding Brand said, but not as much.

The mobile commerce company gets its data from an index of 66 mobile sites in variety of e-commerce verticals.
