Facebook tweaked its policies related to the use of text in the cover images of pages, as well as in ads that appear in users’ news feeds.

Facebook tweaked its policies related to the use of text in the cover images of pages, as well as in ads that appear in users’ news feeds.

Sister blog Inside Facebook pointed out the changes to Section III.D and Section III.B of the social network’s ad guidelines, reporting that images from page post ads that are eligible for news feed will be reviewed via a grid-based text-overlay detection tool, and that text within logos counts toward its 20 percent limit.
