Social analytics company Tellagence has debuted a new product called Tellagence Community that aims to answer your influencer identification and engagement strategy questions with an effective, efficient solution.
Tellagence Community posits that it replaces manual Twitter follower counts, spreadsheets of Twitter profiles, and social scoring systems like Klout to help you determine precisely who your influencers are on Twitter based on rich contextual analysis.
The thinking is that someone with half a million Twitter followers doesn’t necessarily make the best match to spread your message on the network.
The cool thing about the product is that, by calculating the strength, context, and direction of relationships, it’s able to predict where information will move across Twitter.
Tellagence Community works in tandem with the company’s Discover product, which launched in July. Tellagence Discover is a social research and analytics tool that enables marketers to segment an entire market on Twitter using any single word.
