When you think of technology you think of Silicon Valley in the state of California, but who really dominates tech talk across the U.S.?

Experts Exchange analysed which states had the most tweets (per capita) using specific programming terms – New York led the way, narrowly beating out Alabama, who surprised at second place.

Java was the most tweeted programming language by state, and Virginia was the most tech-friendly state by number of programming jobs.
