iTunes App Store: 27,000 Apps & Still Growing Strong
Apple’s iTunes App Store, that nifty storefront where you can get all those cool games and whatnot for the iPhone 3G or iPod touch, now has more than 27,000 apps available for download. Not bad for a service that’s only been around since July.
What really shows the popularity of the App Store, however, is the notion that there are only around 20,000 apps out there for Microsoft’s Windows Mobile platform, according to an InformationWeek article.
