A Quicktime software-based Internet version of the popular TV spot from DDB Chicago (see Creative, page 26) has Superman, Aquaman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Robin in the featured roles of slackers whose conversation consists mainly of the exaggerated greeting “Whassuuuuuup?”
The video, dubbed “Superfriends,” was available last week on www.adcritic.com. It was also posted, for unknown reasons, on the Detroit People Mover mass transit Web site.
No one seems to know who is behind the video.
