Children’s entertainment app and game developer TabTale has announced it has secured a licensing partnership with American Greetings Corporation’s AG Properties, which will see the developer creating mobile games based on the company’s popular brands for kids. The first app is Care Bears Rainbow Playtime, which is now available on iOS, Google Play and the Amazon App Store.

In Care Bears Rainbow Playtime, gamers can complete over 50 different activities, from arts and crafts to virtual bake shops, gardening, music making and more. There are nine different “centers” for players to explore, each inhabited by different bears from the Care Bears universe (like Share Bear, Harmony Bear and Tenderheart Bear, to name a few).

“We’ve proven to be a global leader when it comes to the quality and reach of our apps for children,” said Sagi Schliesser, co-founder and CEO of TabTale. “American Greetings is an iconic company with highly regarded kids brands that many of us grew up with, and we look forward to bringing Care Bears and more to the next generation of kids who are preferring fun content on mobile devices.”

TabTale pulls in 25 million monthly active users, with around half of these coming from the US. Its apps and games have been downloaded more than 300 million times, with TabTale expanding to target an older audience via Crazy Labs, its separate publishing brand.
