The field of 68 teams in the 2014 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship tournament has been whittled down to 16, and the regional semifinals tip off Thursday night. The Facebook Data Science Team created a map showing which Sweet 16 team tops each state in terms of Facebook mentions since the start of the tournament.

Findings revealed by the map include:
- The University of Dayton generated the most buzz in more than one-half of the states in the U.S.,
