Survey: 60% of Brides Announce Engagement on Social Media Within First 24 Hours

The Knot released the results of "The Knot Social Media Survey 2016," which revealed how brides use social media from the time of their engagements to their honeymoons.

Wedding brand and marketplace The Knot released the results of “The Knot Social Media Survey 2016,” which revealed how brides use social media from the time of their engagements to their honeymoons.

The Knot‘s survey gathered responses from 1,192 U.S. respondents aged 18 and older (99 percent female and 1 percent male) who had been married less than one year or are currently engaged.

The survey showed that 60 percent of brides announced their engagement on social media within the first 24 hours of saying “yes.”
