Su.pr Joins URL-Shortening Fray

The URL-shortening arena has another participant: StumbleUpon‘s Su.pr came out of closed beta, joining bit.ly, TinyURL, DiggBar, Awe.sm, Un.hub, linkBy, Ow.ly, Post.ly and others, TechCrunch reported.

The former eBay subsidiary’s Su.pr provides users with a dashboard allowing them to track how many times Su.pr links are shared and across which services, as well as how many times each link was clicked on and retweeted and the number of followers for each retweeter, according to TechCrunch. Links can be voted upon by the StumbleUpon community.
