A new search tool on 1-800-FLOWERS.COM helps men pick the right flowers for their lady friends and family members. Men check off the occasion, their relationship to the recipient and whether the gesture is romantic and the tool decides whether they should send roses or stargazer lilies. For further help, "The Apologizer" rates common relationship crimes on a scale of 1 to 10 and offers appropriate gift ideas and tips for groveling. The Guy's Guide to Flowers(SM) is the work of Triad Digital Media, an advertising agency that creates, manages and operates online media programs for retailer and e-commerce websites including Walmart.com, Toys"R"Us.com, CVS.com, SamsClub.com and Dell.com. Founded in 2004 with headquarters in Tampa, Florida, the company now employs more than 250 people in six offices nationwide. "These types of fun and useful interactive campaigns are a highly effective way to engage consumers and promote brands directly on a retail site. They add entertainment value to the shopping experience, they keep the customer on the site, and they ultimately drive revenue for the retailer. A site that offers same-day delivery of prearranged flowers doesn't need to win us over with humor, but leave it to a flower company to make such a thoughtful gesture.
