Square Launches Mobile Gift Cards
Mobile payment services company Square has introduced mobile gift cards. Square members can virtually send mobile gift cards to local businesses in their area that accept Square mobile payments.
Users can find participating stores in the Square network, then select the amount, write a gift message, pick a theme and send. The gift card is sent via email. Users can then save the gift card to their Square account and call it up the next time they visit the store.
