While there have been internal improvement aimed mostly at enterprises running Exchange Server, the average non-Exchange-served Windows Mobile user (me) hasn’t really seen much improvement since Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition was released in the spring of 2004. Fortunately, like Windows XP, however, Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition was a capable OS (though often paired with underpowered processors) and is still useful a half-decade later.
