Spanish Is Second Most Tweeted Language
Here’s another reason to learn Spanish if you don’t already know it: It’s the second most tweeted language.
But don’t worry, if you don’t know how to speak another language and you’re signed on via Chrome, Google offers a fairly useless translation service.
English is the most tweeted language, but Spanish is number two according to Victor Garcia de la Concha, director of Spain’s Cervantes Institute.
The Latin America Herald Tribune reports that de la Concha announced this tidbit on Monday when he “was joined by Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo at an event in Madrid to present the institute’s 2012 Yearbook.
