Sony Launches 'The Walk' Virtual Reality App on iOS, Android
The app allows users to experience Philippe Petit's walk between the two towers of the World Trade Center in virtual reality.
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the launch of The Walk VR on iOS and Android. The app offers a virtual reality experience inspired by the film, The Walk, which tells the story of Philippe Petit, who walked between the two towers of the World Trade Center on a wire in 1974.
The Walk VR app is compatible with the Merge VR Goggles and Google Cardboard devices, and also offers a 360 degree video mode for users without a virtual reality headset.
