Sony Enters eReader Price Wars
Sony has entered the eReader price wars and dropped the prices of its various eReaders.
The Pocket Edition went from $169 to $149. The Touch Edition has been reduced from $249 to $169. The Reader Daily Edition, a 3G wireless device with a 7-inch screen, has gone from $350 to $299.
These price reductions keep Sony up to date with the current pricing offered from Barnes & Noble and Amazon. With the Nook Wi-Fi at only $149 and the Kindle at $189, readers are expecting a lot from their eReaders at a fraction of the price.
