The latest to take a crack at creating an effective social search tool is Social Searcher, which released its Social Buzz real-time search engine for Facebook, Twitter, and Google Plus.
Social Searcher said Social Buzz is based on the publicly open search application-programming interface, and its features include:
- Multiple keywords, exact keywords, and minus keywords tools.
- Location, content, and popularity filtering.
- Search results analytics.
- Three-column layout of search results.
Founder Dmitry Oreshko said he was inspired to proceed with Social Buzz after positive feedback on the company’s Social Leaks product, adding that it took him about three weeks to develop.
