A Social Network for Foodies

Before the days of Facebook, before iPhones and hashtags, Twitter and Foursquare, the social network started at the dinner table. For centuries, food has connected people, bringing families and friends together to share a meal. Food was and always has been the starting point of social connection and the expression of a shared culture. Now that we’ve moved onto a more digital time, it may seem that we’ve lost the face-to-face communication that thrived around Medieval tables, but food itself hasn’t lost its ability to connect people.
