Twitter Will Reportedly Roll Out 'Buy' Button Later This Year (CNET) Twitter is going to incorporate a way for users to easily buy things directly from its network later this year, according to a report Friday from Recode. The social network is partnering with Stripe, a payments services company, to integrate a "buy" button into tweets, unnamed sources told Re/code. VentureBeat The idea is to allow users to click Buy, then enter their billing and shipping information without ever leaving Twitter. The report cites sources saying that businesses that want to sell products in this way on Twitter should start working with Stripe to set up backend systems.
