Facebook Dumps Microsoft Web Search Results (Reuters) Facebook has stopped including results from Microsoft's Bing search engine on its social networking site. The move, confirmed by a company spokesperson, comes as Facebook has revamped its own search offerings, introducing a tool today that allows users to quickly find past comments and other information posted by their friends on Facebook. MediaPost Facebook isn't currently showing Web search query results because the company wants to focus on helping site users find what's being shared with them on the social site, a Facebook spokesman said in a statement. While Graph Search focuses on helping people find what has been shared with them on Facebook, the new tool will search across the Web similar to Microsoft Bing -- which now, along with Yahoo, holds about 30 percent of the search market in the United States.
