Twitter announced a switch from the Helvetica Neue font to Hoefler & Co’s Gotham. Engadget Already, design and typography fans are expressing dismay at the switch, although if you're still reading tweets mostly through apps, it could be a while before you notice any difference at all. Mashable The shift follows the new Twitter profiles that first rolled out publicly in February and have only recently been incorporated into most user pages. The company has made no formal announcement on its blog, but it did share news of the change from the @Support account. We primarily use the Gotham font family: elegant and direct, stylish but not exclusive. Putting well-designed words in our product enhances the user experience."
