Social games news roundup: Betable gets more partners, Jamie Oliver comes to ChefVille and Ngmoco’s got more developers in its network

Betable announces three more partners — Betable’s had a big week. Aside from Big Fish Casino officially launching in the U.K., the company announced it’s formed partnerships with Slingo Inc., Digital Chocolate and Murka Games to be a part of its private beta program. No other details have been revealed about the games that will utilize Betable’s technology, but we’re personally hoping to see real-money gaming come to Gangs of Boomtown.

Jamie Oliver comes to ChefVille — Starting this week, celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is setting up shop in ChefVille. For the next two weeks, the game will feature Oliver in the game and dispensing quests  based on simple cooking and sustainable produce cultivation. Players will also have the opportunity to contribute to Oliver’s Real Food Movement by purchasing charity packs in the game that come with virtual good rewards.

More developers join up for Ngmoco’s mobile network — DeNA’s Ngmoco revealed this week it’s enlisted 10 new developers to publish titles on the Mobage mobile social gaming network. The developers include Big Cut, Cobalt Play Games, Electrified Games, GameCloud, Joywinds, Kyy Games, Massive Damage, Oh BiBi Socialtainment, Runaway Play and XMG Studio. This brings the number of partnered developers to over 50.

Wizard of Oz now playable on Facebook [Launch] — Spooky Cool Labs’ new Facebook game The Wizard of Oz is now open to the public. This is the official social game for the movie, thanks to a partnership with Warner Bros. and includes music and video clips from the film.

Wreck-It Ralph crashes into mobile devices [Launch] — Disney Mobile’s latest game, Wreck-It Ralph, launched this week for iOS and select Android devices. The game’s a tie-in to this week’s new movie from Disney and features three different arcade games. Wreck-It Ralph is available for $0.99 and can be bought here.
