More and more small and midsized businesses on Facebook are turning to videos to help drive their messages and increase engagement, according to new data from the social network.

Facebook found that:

  • More than 800,000 SMBs posted more than 3 million videos during this past September.
  • 84 percent of those video uploads came from outside of the U.S.
  • The total number of SMBs posting videos on Facebook has nearly doubled year-over-year.
  • The number of videos uploaded by SMBs has nearly tripled year-over-year.
