Do you use social media to promote your small business?
You’re in good company. New research has revealed that almost three-quarters of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) now use social media, with mobile marketing also very much on the rise.
BIA/Kelsey‘s ongoing study of the advertising behaviours of SMBs discovered that 72 percent are active on one or more social channels for marketing purposes – Facebook led all platforms with 52.1 percent of respondents, ahead of LinkedIn (28 percent), Google+ (25 percent) and Twitter (24.3 percent).
One third (32 percent) of SMBs now use some form of mobile advertising to promote their business, and two in five already accept payments at the point of sale via mobile.
