Do You Tweet Smarter Than A Fourth Grader? Take This Test And Find Out

One third of tweets test at a four grade reading level, including those from a number of popular celebrities, reveals a new study.

Using the commonly-used reading comprehension test known as SMOG (which, honestly, stands for Simple Measure of Gobbledygook), TIME analysed one million public tweets and found that 33 percent tested at a fourth grade reading level.

Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Kanye West were amongst the celebrities whose tweets rated at fourth grade, with Jim Carrey scoring at a third grade level.
