Simon & Schuster Launches Pilot eBook Program in New York Libraries

Simon & Schuster has partnered with The New York Public Library, the Brooklyn Public Library, and the Queens Library, for a new pilot eBook program. Like other eBook programs library patrons will be able to check out digital copies of Simon & Schuster titles from participating libraries. The program will also allow patrons to purchase eBook copies of these books from within the libraries’ online portals. The library that they make the purchase from will receive a share of the proceeds from these retail sales.

The one-year pilot program, will begin April 30th on Manhattan and Brooklyn and will launch around mid-May in Queens.
