Simon & Schuster Introduces Author Widgets
Unlike many other publishers, Simon & Schuster is doing a lot of its digital development in house, including its own eGalley program and an unusually robust Website that enables authors to link their own promotional efforts to whatever S&S is doing. Today, the publisher announced a new author widget, developed in collaboration with GetGlue.
Here’s a description from Simon & Schuster: “The Author Widget will display all the books published by Simon & Schuster for that author, with the most recent ones appearing first, and are automatically updated as new information becomes available.
