Shred Video on iOS Creates Movies Using Artificial Intelligence
The Shred Video app automatically selects the best action moments from each video, as a well as a clip from a chosen song, to create a short movie for sharing on Instagram.
Users looking to easily combine their iPhone videos with music for sharing on Instagram have a new option in Shred Video, a free video app featured in the Best New Apps category on iTunes.
With Shred Video, users import up to 15 photos or video clips to create each 15-second movie, and can add a song by choosing one from their iTunes library, or searching for something on SoundCloud. While the app can be used by everyone, it’s been designed for ‘action sports athletes and adventure travelers,’ and uses artificial intelligence to pick the best ‘action’ moments from each clip to highlight in the final product.
