Chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg didn’t leave Facebook for Disney, or to run for public office, and she said Tuesday that she’s not leaving the social network for a cabinet position, either.
At the Internet Association’s Virtuous Circle conference in Menlo Park, Calif., Tuesday, Sandberg addressed speculation that she would serve as secretary of the Treasury or secretary of commerce if Hillary Clinton wins the presidency.
Tony Romm of Politico reported that Sandberg said during a fireside chat at the event:
I’m staying at Facebook.
