Unlike the social network she works for, Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg is not banned in China, as she spoke in front of more than 800 people at the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business in Beijing to promote the Chinese translation of her book, Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead.

Unlike the social network she works for, Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg is not banned in China, as she spoke in front of more than 800 people at the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business in Beijing to promote the Chinese translation of her book, Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead.

Bloomberg reported that Sandberg urged her audience to address the stereotypes that hold women back, to push for changes in corporate polices to make them more accommodating to women, and for equality and sharing of duties between men and women in the home, adding:

I believe the time is right for change.
