Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg made her first public appearance since the social network’s troubled initial public offering, speaking to graduates of the business school at her alma mater and that of Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg, Harvard University, but nary a word was spoken about the IPO.

Reuters reported that Sandberg would not comment before or after her speech, saying she was not speaking to the media.

So what did Sandberg talk about? According to Reuters, she urged the graduates to work for fast-growing companies, to communicate honestly, and to address inequality in the workplace, saying:

We need to acknowledge openly that gender remains at issue at the highest levels.
