You Can Now Share Tweets in Direct Messages on #Twitter

Twitter’s direct message system has always been pretty basic, but lately the company has been quite vocal about how they plan to improve the platform. Earlier this week Twitter reactivated the facility to send links in direct messages, and as of yesterday you can now share tweets via direct messages for the first time, too.

Here’s how it works. On Twitter.com, click on the more icon (…) below any tweet and choose “Share via Direct Message”.

On Twitter for iPhone or Android, long-press the tweet you want to share and then choose “Share via Direct Message”.
