Salon's Lam Moonlighting on Cooking Channel's Food(ography)
Salon’s food editor Francis Lam is adding the small screen to his resume—as one of the commentators on the Cooking Channel’s Food(ography).
The show, hosted by Mo Rocca, looks at how people and societies were shaped by food. It’s one of about 20 programs on the new Food Network spinoff, which launched last month. Lam, who’s not leaving his day job as Salon’s Senior Writer, Food, is one of Food(ography)’s talking heads—the folks you see in cutaway interviews who provide context and insight on the topic du jour.
