Safari Books Releases Updated iPad app

Safari has just released a new version of its iPad app. This app, which was originally released in November 2010, offers access to 13 thousand titles in the Safari Books collection.

The new app has been rebuilt from the ground up. It adds a new offline reading mode which means you can now choose a book to read later when you are on the go or disconnected from the Internet.  It’s still only supported over Wifi, unfortunately, 3G isn’t supported at this time.
