Safari Books Online Acquires Threepress Consulting
Digital publishing company Safari Books Online has acquired Massachusetts-based Threepress Consulting in a deal whose terms were not disclosed. The acquisition will expand Safari Books Online’s capabilities by bringing Threepress, the company that makes the Ibis Reader online EPUB reading system, into the fold.
Under the terms of the acquisition, Threepress employees will join the Safari Books Online team. This includes Threepress co-founders Liza Daly and Keith Fahlgren. Daly is now the VP of Engineering at Safari Books and Fahlgren is now the Director of Engineering.
