Rovio Buys Casey’s Contraptions
The developers of the wildly successful Angry Birds franchise clearly aren’t the type to rest on their laurels. Earlier today Rovio’s Ville Heijari, VP of franchise development, confirmed that they had bought the rights to Casey’s Contraptions from Snappy Touch and Mystery Coconut.
As you can see from the screenshot above, this is physics game that requires you to build a Rube Goldberg machine for each level. I can see why Rovio would want it; it looks like it would be a nice expansion to Angry Birds.
The developers have already pulled their game from the market in anticipation of the sale.
